As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated and ambitious Sales Executive to drive growth across Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania, with a strong focus on our electrical portfolio.

The Prospect

n

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with 1–3 years of experience who is ready to take the next step in their career and develop their skills within an established Australian industry leader.

n

Your primary focus will be promoting our market-leading range of power and technology solutions, developing sales and new business opportunities whilst building strong, long-term customer relationships across VIC, SA & TAS. Based in South Yarra and reporting to the Sales Manager, VIC, SA & TAS.

n

You will work closely with electrical contractors, electrical engineers, consultants, distributors and other project stakeholders to identify opportunities, influence specifications and convert projects into sales.

n

While experience within the electrical industry would be highly regarded, it's not essential.



We're equally interested in someone with a strong sales foundation, a willingness to learn and the drive to develop their knowledge of our products, customers and industry.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Develop sales and new business opportunities throughout VIC, SA & TAS
n
- Build and strengthen relationships with electrical contractors, electrical engineers, consultants, distributors and other key customers
n
- Identify project opportunities during the design and construction phasesPromote our products and increase specification opportunities
n
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations
n
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through regular customer engagement
n
- Achieve territory sales and growth targets
n
- Represent CMS Electracom at industry events, networking opportunities, trade shows and exhibitions
n

About You

n

To be successful, you'll ideally bring:

n

n
- 1–3 years of B2B sales or business development experience
n
- A genuine interest in sales and developing current business and building strong customer relationships
n
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
n
- A proactive, self-motivated and resilient approach to sales
n




- The confidence to engage with customers, ask questions and identify opportunities
n
- A willingness to learn our products and develop your knowledge of the electrical and commercial construction industries
n
- Flexible to travel to VIC, SA & TAS (for 2–3 days) every 4–6 weeks
n

n

Highly regarded, but not essential:

n

n
- Experience within the electrical, construction, building products or related industries
n
- Experience selling into commercial construction projects
n
- Exposure to project-based or specification sales
n
