The prospect
n
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the day-to-day operational delivery of a major construction project.
n
You will coordinate trade packages, manage site logistics, and lead the site supervisors and engineering team to deliver safe, efficient, and quality-compliant construction in line with the project program.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Site management and logistics
n
n
- Manage day-to-day site operations, including site establishment, access, trade coordination, and logistics planning.
n
- Manage construction sequencing and ensure activities progress in line with the approved program.
n
- Coordinate subcontractor works, managing interfaces, access, and safety compliance across all active packages.
n
- Maintain site safety, housekeeping, and quality standards in line with Maas Construct's project management framework.
n
n
Team and trade coordination
n
n
- Direct and manage site supervisors and leading hands across all active trade packages.
n
- Coordinate with the Engineering Lead on design queries, inspection hold points, and technical matters.
n
- Liaise with the Project Manager on program progress, subcontractor performance,
and site issues requiring escalation.
n
- Manage site inductions, toolbox talks, and workforce coordination in conjunction with the HSE Manager.
n

Requirements
n
Experience and qualifications
n
n
- 10+ years' experience in site management within the building construction industry, with demonstrated experience managing concurrent trade packages on major building projects.
n
- Current Construction Induction Card (White Card) and relevant site management certifications.
n
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, site logistics, and WHS requirements.
n
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or equivalent desirable.
n
- Strong site leader with authority and respect across trades and subcontractors.
n
- Disciplined in managing safety, quality, and program requirements simultaneously.
n
- Practical problem-solver with hands-on construction knowledge and site experience.
n
- Clear and direct communicator with the project team, subcontractors, and site workforce.
n
- Highly organised with strong situational awareness and supervisory capability on site.
n
