Overview

Forever Recent is seeking an experienced Sample Machinist to join our in-house Sample Room on a Full-Time basis. You will work closely with Pattern Makers, Designers, QA and Buying to create high-quality samples that reflect Forever New's fit, craftsmanship, and style standards.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Construct 1.5-2 complete, high-quality garments per day
n
- Collaborate with Pattern Makers to resolve construction challenges
n
- Support the sample cutter to ensure seamless workflow
n
- Label all samples clearly with style details, dates, and fabric info
n
- Ensure all samples align with critical path deadlines
n
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
n
- Suggest sewing improvements and provide feedback to enhance garment construction
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Qualification in Garment Construction or equivalent fashion industry experience
n




- 3–5 years' experience as a Sample Machinist
n
- Solid knowledge of garment construction and pattern interpretation
n
- High attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
n
- A collaborative, proactive and can-do attitude
n
- Passion for fashion and pride in your craftsmanship
