Key Duties

n

- Cook and present meals according to menu standards
n
- Manage your section and deliver consistent, high-quality dishes
n
- Contribute to seasonal menu changes and specials
n
- Mentor and train junior/apprentice kitchen staff
n
- Demonstrate cooking techniques and share best practices with the team
n
- Monitor stock levels and support cost control initiatives
n
- Plan menus and order supplies as required
n
- Ensure compliance with OHS, HACCP, and food safety regulations
n
- Maintain a clean, safe,



and well‐organised kitchen environment
n

Requirements

n

n
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef in a comparable restaurant environment
n
- Solid knowledge of safe food handling, HACCP, and OHS standards
n
- Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills
n
- Passion for local produce, sustainability, and innovation
n
- Food Safety certification and solid understanding of OHS compliance
n
- Positive, team-focused attitude and a strong work ethic
n
