We are seeking an experienced and motivated Procurement / Spare Parts / Service / Warranty Officer to join our Vehicles team in Newcastle.

n

This is a diverse and rewarding role that combines procurement, customer relationship management, spare parts coordination, service administration and warranty management. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring projects, products and services are delivered on time, within budget and to the high standards our customers expect.

n

Working closely with suppliers, production teams, engineers and customers, you'll help drive operational success while supporting the continued growth of our national spare parts and service business.

About the Role

n

As our Procurement / Spare Parts / Service / Warranty Officer, you'll be responsible for coordinating purchasing activities, managing supplier relationships and supporting customers throughout the entire service and spare parts lifecycle.

n

This role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to make a genuine impact. You'll work across procurement, inventory management, customer support, warranty administration and business growth initiatives while contributing to the success of a leading Australian manufacturer.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Coordinating procurement activities to support production and project delivery.
n
- Sourcing, negotiating and managing suppliers to achieve quality, cost and delivery objectives.
n
- Raising purchase orders and monitoring supplier performance.
n
- Maintaining purchasing records, inventory data and ERP transactions.
n
- Managing spare parts sales orders from enquiry through to delivery.
n
- Coordinating service jobs and providing customers with regular updates.
n
- Preparing quotations for spare parts and service requirements.
n
- Managing warranty claims, returns and customer enquiries.
n




- Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
n
- Monitoring inventory levels and supporting stock management initiatives.
n
- Identifying opportunities to grow spare parts and service revenue.
n
- Supporting continuous improvement across procurement and customer service activities.
n

About You

You are a highly organised and customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and delivering outstanding outcomes.

You will ideally bring:

- Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, service coordination or administration.
n
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
n
- Experience managing customer enquiries, orders and service requests.
n
- Understanding of inventory control and purchasing processes.
n
- Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities.
n
- Exceptional organisation and attention to detail.
n
- Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
n
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
n
- A proactive approach with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
n
- Commercial acumen and a passion for continuous improvement.
