As a Kennel Hand, you will play an important role in supporting our veterinary and nursing teams while ensuring the comfort, cleanliness and welfare of our patients.

Key responsibilities
n
Daily cleaning and maintenance of kennels, hospital wards and equipment
n
Assisting with animal handling and restraint as required
n
Monitoring patient comfort, hygiene and wellbeing
n
Supporting nurses and veterinarians with general clinic duties
n
Cleaning and maintaining treatment and patient areas
n
Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment
n
Following clinic protocols and infection-control procedures
n
About you
n
Previous experience with animal handling and restraint is preferred
n
Experience in a veterinary clinic, kennel or animal-care setting is highly regarded
n
A calm and confident approach around animals of varying temperaments
n
Strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
n
Reliable, punctual and willing to take direction
n
Comfortable working as part of a busy team
n
Physically capable of handling the demands of the role
n
A genuine interest in animal welfare and patient care
