The Opportunity

n

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Facilities Manager to join the Retail Projex Management Team. This is a full-time position working closely with our leadership team to oversee a diverse portfolio of assets.

n

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, compliance, and risk management of multiple properties, ensuring optimal asset performance, tenant satisfaction, and maximum investment returns.

What you'll be doing:

n

- Ensuring building compliance is proactively managed to ensure that all legislative requirements are adhered to at all times
n
- Undertaking regular re-tendering of service contracts including a review of specifications and role requirements taking into consideration best practice
n
- Daily on-site contractor management
n
- Managing and maintaining a high standard of presentation and day-to-day operations of the asset,



including security, maintenance and safety
n
- Undertaking detailed routine site inspections and actioning any necessary items
n
- Developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, clients, contractors and colleagues
n
- Reviewing monthly operating expenditure against budget
n
- Working with the Centre Manager to produce monthly client reports, as required
n
- Ensuring all planned preventative maintenance is executed in accordance with schedules and all plant and equipment is maintained to the very highest of standards
n
- Focusing on sustainability improvements and adding value through efficiencies in the operations of the centres.

About you:

n

n
- Experience in a similar role, with knowledge of shopping centre and retail operations
n
- Intermediate level ability in MS Office - Outlook, Word & Excel (essential)
n
- Strong attention to detail and written communication skills
n
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise
n
- An ability to communicate to the highest standard, being verbal and written, always closing out tasks
n
- Can demonstrate evidence of client/stakeholder management
n
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
n
- Holds a current NSW drivers licence
n
- Holds a real estate license or certificate of registration (beneficial, not compulsory)
n

This role requires a commercially astute qualified with proven experience within the retail property and centre management industry. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of asset performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency, with the ability to add real value across a diverse portfolio.
