We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Picker Packer to join our steel processing and distribution team.

n

About the Role

n

The successful applicant will be responsible for picking, stacking and packing steel profile-cut plates after they are processed through our profile cutting machines.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Safely remove profile-cut steel plates from the cutting machine bed.
n
- Use a overhead crane to lift and position steel plates.
n
- Stack and organise plates neatly onto pallets.
n
- Check quantities and job identification before packing.
n
- Ensure finished jobs are correctly prepared for dispatch.
n
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
n
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.
n
- Assist the production team with general workshop duties when required.
n

Skills & Requirements

n

n




- Current Forklift Licence – essential.
n
- Experience working with steel, metal or a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
n
- Experience using an overhead crane is preferred.
n
- Physically fit and comfortable handling steel products.
n
- Reliable, punctual and safety-focused.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Previous experience in picking, packing or steel distribution will be highly regarded.
n
