n Part-time - 22.8 hours per week
n SCHADS Award Level 3 or Level 4, depending on experience, qualifications and final duties

Community Living Association Inc. is seeking a practical, organised and values-led Compliance Officer to support our governance, quality, risk, safety and compliance systems.

About the role

n

The Compliance Officer will work with the CEO, managers, team leaders and staff to make sure compliance obligations are identified, tracked, monitored and reported.

n

The role includes supporting:

n

n
- compliance registers and action trackers
n
- policy review schedules
n
- audit readiness and evidence gathering
n
- quality improvement actions
n
- risk registers and WHS monitoring
n
- incident, complaint and corrective action follow-up
n
- reporting to management, committees and the Board
n
- practical resources, checklists and guidance for staff
n

n

About you

n

This role would suit someone who enjoys keeping things on track, improving systems,



supporting staff, and helping a community organisation meet its obligations in a clear and consistent way.

n

You will bring:

n

n
- at least 2 years' experience in compliance, quality, governance, risk, audit support or administration
n
- experience maintaining registers, records or controlled documents
n
- strong attention to detail
n
- good written and verbal communication skills
n
- ability to identify risks, gaps and improvement opportunities
n
- sound Microsoft 365 skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
n
- commitment to confidentiality, human rights, inclusion, cultural safety and child safety
n

n

Experience in the not-for-profit, disability, housing, child and family, or community services sector would be highly regarded.

n

The successful applicant must have, or be willing to obtain:

- right to work in Australia
n
- Queensland Blue Card
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, where required
n
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate
n

n
