We're looking for an experienced Manager, Workplace Relations & Compliance to join our People team, supporting leaders across the business on complex employee and industrial relations matters. This is a great opportunity for an experienced ER/IR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders, managing complex workplace matters and influencing positive business outcomes in a dynamic, unionised environment.

About The Role

You'll provide expert advice and support across a broad range of employee relations matters while ensuring legislative compliance and best practice.

Key Responsibilities Include

- Leading complex workplace investigations, including misconduct, grievances, bullying and policy breaches.
- Providing trusted ER and IR advice to leaders on complex people matters.
- Coaching leaders through performance, disciplinary and workplace issues.
- Interpreting employment legislation, enterprise agreements, awards and policies.
- Representing TGE in Fair Work Commission and other industrial matters where required.
- Building strong relationships with People teams, leaders and employee representatives.
- Contributing to continuous improvement across ER practices, governance and capability.

About You

- Significant experience managing complex Employee and Industrial Relations matters.
- Solid workplace investigation and case management capability.
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, awards and enterprise agreements.
- Experience working within a unionised environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
- A pragmatic, commercially focused approach with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business.
