An exciting prospect has become available for an experiencedTrade Sales Supervisor to join our Tait Mitre 10 store in Tooronga.

n

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the store's trade sales operations. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for trade sales & operational performance, inventory management, workforce planning, transport operations, safety and team development.

n

Working with a diverse team, you will play an important role in delivering outstanding customer service, supporting operational performance and developing team capability.

n

This role would suit someone who enjoys problem solving, supporting people and working in a quick-paced trade environment.

What you will be doing

n

- Manage the day-to-day sales & operations of the trade department.
n
- Support trade sales performance while delivering exceptional customer service.
n
- Prepare team rosters and oversee workforce planning.
n
- Coach and develop team members to build capability and performance.
n
- Oversee inventory management, stock accuracy and stock flow processes.
n
- Promote secure work practices and contribute to a positive safety culture.
n
- Support recruitment,



onboarding and training of new team members.
n

What you will bring

n

n
- Previous supervisory, department management or store management experience within retail, trade, hardware, building supplies or a related industry.
n
- A hands-on leadership style and the ability to support and develop team members.
n
- Experience managing rosters, operational processes and inventory.
n
- Ability to balance customer service, operational priorities and commercial outcomes.
n
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
n
- Trade sales, hardware or building supplies experience is desirable.
n
- Experience in transport or logistics and a forklift licence will be highly regarded.
n
