The Role

n

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager & Operations Manager this important role is required to support the increased demand for products being received and dispatched through our Brisbane warehouse.

n

Responsibilities

n

Picking and packing of products and preparing these for dispatch.

n

Loading and unloading of containers.

n

Quality control and checking goods received.

n

Operating all mechanical equipment including Forklifts in a safe manner.

n

Use of hand tools as required.

n

Heavy lifting of products.

n

Packaging and labeling of stock.

n

Participate in stocktakes and weekly cycle counts.

n

Prepare delivery run sheets and complete consignment notes.

n

General housekeeping duties as required.

n

Deliveries to customers as and when required.

n

The Person

n

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

n

Highly organised and possess great time management skills.

n

Be motivated and with strong attention to detail.

n





Experience checking delivery sheets and goods inward, including uploading containers.

n

Effective, timely and accurate distribution of goods in and out of our warehouse, including loading of trucks.

n

A robust commitment to WH&S; policies and procedures.

n

A willingness to learn and a positive "can do" attitude.

n

Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

n

Current Forklift and drivers licence.

n

Computer skills or the ability to learn.

n

Must be a team player.
