Senior Contracts Administrator / Contracts Lead

Gamuda Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join our Stations Package West (SPW) project. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute professional who thrives in a complex, fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems and finding practical solutions.

About the Role:

n

Reporting to a Senior Commercial Manager, you will work as part of a high-performing commercial team comprising Assistant Contract Administrators through to Senior Contract Administrators.

n

The project involves complex stakeholder interfaces across internal teams, contractors, authorities and third parties. The successful candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, emotional intelligence, negotiation skills and resilience.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Manage downstream procurement and subcontract administration
n
- Administer contracts, variations and commercial change
n
- Manage payment claims and assessments
n
- Prepare and coordinate end-of-month commercial reporting
n
- Manage time and cost claims
n
- Support procurement and contracting strategies
n
- Manage commercial interfaces with subcontractors, authorities and third parties
n
- Ensure contractual obligations and project requirements are effectively managed
n

About You

The following experience is highly desirable:

n

n
- Rail, station construction or station fit-out experience
n
- MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire) procurement and contract administration
n
