Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Manager / Director to join its growing professional services team based in Melbourne. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional looking to take the next step in their career, offering a salary of $130,000–$150,000 + superannuation + bonus.

The role offers the opportunity to manage a client portfolio, lead and mentor a team, contribute to business growth, and work closely with Directors. A genuine pathway towards equity and ownership is available for the right candidate.

What you’ll be doing:

- Managing and developing a portfolio of business and individual clients
- Providing accounting, taxation and business advisory services
- Reviewing financial statements, tax returns and management reports
- Providing strategic advice across taxation, business structures, cash flow and budgeting
- Managing client engagements, workflow, deadlines and quality standards
- Leading, mentoring and developing accounting staff
- Supporting recruitment and team development
- Working with Directors on strategic and operational matters
- Building strong client relationships and identifying business development opportunities

What you’ll need:





- 8–10 years of experience in accounting, taxation, business advisory or qualified services
- Strong Australian public practice experience
- CA or CPA qualification preferred
- Strong technical knowledge across taxation, accounting and business advisory
- Proven experience managing a client portfolio and reviewing complex accounting work
- Strong leadership, commercial and client relationship skills
- Experience mentoring and developing accounting staff
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
