Road Patching Truck Operator and Team Member

Permanent Full time - 38-hour week with fortnightly RDO

n

Salary commencing from $76,041 + 12% Superannuation

n

About the opportunity:

n

Join Council's team as a Truck Operator and play an important role in keeping our roads safe, maintained and accessible for the community.

n

In this hands-on role, you'll operate and maintain Council's bitumen patching truck, complete pothole repairs, sealing works and other road maintenance activities.

n

To succeed in this position, you will meet the following criteria:

n

n
- Current and valid Class HR Drivers Licence
n
- Current Traffic Controller Qualification
n
- Work Health and Safety Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)
n
- Demonstrated experience in operation of a bitumen patching vehicle
n
- A minimum of twelve months relevant work experience within a similar position
n
- General labouring experience, with a comprehensive understanding of Work Health and Safety Regulations
n
- Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
n
