The Position
n
As a support worker, you will work with our multidisciplinary team in a hands-on client-facing role.
n
n
- Personal care
n
- Medication assistance
n
- Lifting and equipment assistance
n
- Respite services
n
- Household tasks and meal preparation
n
- Transport to appointments and outings
n
- Social support at home and in the community
n
n
Casual roles available for anyone studying in the medical industry; this is a great chance to gain valuable experience in the field
n
n
- Must have Certificate III or IV in assistant nursing, disability, individual support, or a similar field
n
- Previous experience with clients with complex / high needs.
n
- Complex/high needs client experience must include work with behavioral support needs, physical disabilities, or mental health conditions
n
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
n
- Australian unrestricted driver's license
n
- Insured and registered vehicle
n
- Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
n
- Working with children check (or willingness to obtain one)
n
- Current first aid certification
n
- NDIS worker screen
n
- Smartphone with internet access
n
- Full availability including Night Shifts
n
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency required for work authorization
n
