The Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is seeking compassionate and motivated Enrolled Nurses to join our dynamic Orthopaedicteam.

About The Opportunity

n

In this role, you will provide high-quality patient-centred care to patients undergoing orthopaedic and surgical treatment, including joint replacements, fracture management, spinal procedures, and rehabilitation support.

n

You role will involve post-operative care, rehabilitation support, pain management, wound care, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

n

Previous experience in orthopaedic, surgical, or rehabilitation nursing is preferred but not essential. Demonstrated understanding of post-operative orthopaedic care and patient recovery pathways will be highly regarded.

In this role, you will deliver safe and effective nursing care under the supervision of Registered Nurses, assist patients with mobility, rehabilitation, and activities of daily living, monitor patient conditions and report clinical changes promptly, provide wound care,



medication administration, and post-operative observations and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

About You

n

You will bring a solid commitment to high-quality community care and a passion for helping people maintain their health, independence, and dignity. You will have:

n

n
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner regulation Agency as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with a Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia approved qualification for administration of medication (including intravenous medication administration).
n
- Clinical experience relevant and applicable Nursing knowledge and skills relevant to the position speciality
n
- A current Australian Driver's Licence.
n
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritise and organise your workload effectively.
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
n
