We're seeking an experienced and supportive Assistant Centre Director to work alongside the Centre Director and support the continued growth of our multi-level, 169-place service. This full-time permanent, non-contact leadership role is conveniently located close to public transport and bus routes.

What you'll do
n
You'll support centre operations, licensing and compliance, family engagement, incursions and excursions, while helping the service grow towards full occupancy.
n
n
- Support the Centre Director in the day-to-day leadership and operations of the service.
n
- Lead, mentor, and inspire educators to deliver high-quality education and care.
n
- Build solid partnerships with families and the local community.
n
- Support compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Regulations.
n
- Contribute to curriculum planning, reflective practice, and continuous improvement.
n
- Step into the Centre Director role when required.
n

What you'll bring
n
n
- A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values.
n
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher).
n
- Current Working with Children Check for QLD.
n
- Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS,
and Child Protection legislation.
n
- Leadership experience or a strong desire to grow into a leadership role within the ECEC industry.
n
- A collaborative, positive, and supportive leadership style.
n
