About the Role
n
Are you an electrician who enjoys fault finding, machinery and hands-on industrial work? Join the afternoon shift at ABFI Steel Group and put your skills to work across a busy steel manufacturing environment.
n
We're looking for a qualified Maintenance Electrician to keep our workshop, machinery and electrical systems running safely and efficiently.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Preventative maintenance and breakdowns
n
- Fault finding,
repairs and electrical troubleshooting
n
- Industrial machinery, motors, VFDs, PLCs and control systems
n
- Electrical installations, distribution boards and sub-circuits
n
- Overhead cranes, compressors and workshop equipment
n
- Installation, relocation and commissioning of machinery
n
- Lighting, power, data, conduits and general electrical works
n
- Testing, verification and compliance
n
n
Skills and Experience
n
n
- Current Queensland Electrical Licence – essential
n
- Industrial or manufacturing electrical experience
n
- Strong fault-finding and problem‐solving skills
n
- Practical, hands‐on approach
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Solid commitment to safety and quality
