Hotel Receptionists – Multiple Positions

Luxora Hotels and Management Pty. Ltd. is seeking experienced, qualified and customer-focused Hotel Receptionists to join its front-office team in Townsville. The successful applicants will provide attentive service to hotel guests throughout the reservation, arrival, stay and departure process.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Welcome guests and complete check-in and check-out procedures.
n
- Confirm reservations and allocate rooms according to guest requirements.
n
- Process current bookings, cancellations and reservation amendments.
n
- Answer telephone, email and in-person enquiries.
n
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities and local attractions.
n
- Verify guest details, accounts and payment information.
n
- Process payments, deposits, refunds and accommodation charges.
n
- Issue room keys and explain hotel facilities and procedures.
n
- Respond to guest requests and coordinate assistance with other departments.
n
- Receive and resolve guest concerns and complaints professionally.
n

About you

n

n
- At least one or two year(s) of relevant hotel reception or front-office experience.
n
- Experience with hotel reservations, check-in and check-out procedures.
n
- Experience processing payments and maintaining guest accounts.
n




- Strong customer-service and problem-solving abilities.
n
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
n
- Good computer, data-entry and administrative skills.
n
- The ability to remain professional when managing complaints or busy periods.
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a hotel team.
n
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
n
- A Certificate III or higher qualification in hospitality, tourism or a related field (desirable).
