About the Role

MSS Security is looking for Security Officers to join our Defence team across multiple sites in the Australian Capital Territory. We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Your duties may include:

- Site Security & Patrols – Monitoring access points, conducting regular foot patrols and maintaining a solid security presence to protect personnel, assets and infrastructure.

- Stakeholder Engagement – Liaising professionally with Defence personnel, contractors and visitors while supporting a safe and secure environment.

- Incident Response & Emergency Management – Responding promptly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, suspicious activity and security incidents.

- Compliance & Reporting – Following Defence security procedures and site protocols while accurately documenting incidents, shift activities and observations.
