About the Role & the Practice
One of our clients who is a well-established mixed billing practice located in Paynesville, East Gippsland is looking to hire a permanent GP. The clinic has been serving the local community for many years and is known for its supportive and welcoming environment. They offer up to 75% of billings for GPs willing to supervise Level 2-3 IMGs, or 70% for those who do not wish to supervise. The practice operates in a DPA MM5 location and is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
There are currently 2 full time and 2 part-time doctors who are supported by highly experienced Registered and Enrolled Nurses, a practice manager, and an administration team. Patient numbers and cases are typical mix for a small rural town but also attract many holidaymakers and tourists.

Your Responsibilities

- Comprehensive Care: Deliver high-quality medical services to patients of all ages.
- Mentorship:



Supervise and mentor IMG Level 2-3 if you choose to take on this role.
- Collaborative Practice: Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice meetings.

Your Skills, Qualifications & Experience

- Qualifications: FRACGP or equivalent, with AHPRA registration as a VR GP.
- Experience: Previous experience in supervising and mentoring IMGs is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to culturally sensitive practice.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a supportive and collaborative team environment.
