You'll join an established Sydney commercial construction firm with a long-standing, close-knit team, strong repeat-client base and healthy forward pipeline.

The business delivers high-end corporate fit-outs and heavy refurbishments, typically ranging from $1M-$6M, with larger projects reaching circa $10M.

They are growing steadily and are looking for an experienced Site Manager to strengthen an already capable construction team.

The Role
Working closely with the Project Manager and Project Director, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of the site from commencement through to handover.

Expect:

- High-end commercial and corporate fit-outs
- Heavy refurbishment projects
- Projects typically $1M-$6M and up to $10M
- Programming and sequencing of works
- Management of subcontractors and site teams
- Coordination of trades, consultants and services
- QA, WHS, ITPs and site documentation
- Managing finishes, defects and handover
- Direct interaction with clients and consultants
- Repeat subcontractors who already understand the builder's expectations
- Support from experienced Project Managers and senior leadership





You'll be given the autonomy to run your site without unnecessary layers of management, while still having an experienced team around you when required.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- 3+ years' Site Management experience
- Proven commercial fit-out and refurbishment experience
- Experience delivering projects in the $1M-$10M range
- Solid finishes and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and tight programmes
- Strong understanding of WHS, QA and site documentation
- Confidence dealing directly with clients and consultants
- A calm, organised approach when programmes get tight
