The Company:
Based in South Windsor, our client is a busy meat manufacturing and processing facility looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician or Electrical Fitter to join their maintenance team.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Diagnose and assist with the repair of electrical faults on production equipment
- Safely disconnect and reconnect motors, drives and plant equipment
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance
- Assist with the installation, replacement and commissioning of electrical components
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals
- Complete maintenance records
- Respond to maintenance calls and breakdown requests
- Participate in shutdowns, plant upgrades and after-hours breakdowns
- Work safely while complying with WHS, GMP and food safety requirements





The successful candidate will require the following attributes:

- Electrical trade qualification with solid industrial maintenance experience
- NSW Electrical Licence or relevant electrical qualification
- Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with industrial machinery, equipment and production systems
- Manufacturing, food processing or similar industrial experience preferred
- Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to carry out routine maintenance and repairs
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to breakdowns
- Good communication skills and a robust work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.

Hours & Rates: Flexible start and finish times

Rate: $60 to $62 per hour + overtime + super
