ConsultANZ is looking for two experienced Pavement Estimators to join a leading civil contractor in Queensland. These roles will focus on estimating a range of pavement works, including stabilisation, spray sealing, asphalt and pavement construction.

There are opportunities to work across both major infrastructure works and ongoing BAU projects. The location is flexible, with multiple locations across Queensland available.

Main Duties:

- Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for pavement projects.
- Estimate stabilisation, spray seal, asphalt and pavement-layer works.
- Review drawings, specifications, quantities and tender requirements.
- Obtain and assess pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Develop competitive and commercially sound tender pricing.
- Identify project risks, opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
- Work closely with operations, project delivery and business development teams.
- Support tender handover to delivery teams following successful bids.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
- Proven estimating experience within the pavements,



asphalt or road construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of pavement construction, stabilisation, spray sealing and/or asphalt works.
- Experience preparing tenders and cost estimates for civil infrastructure projects.
- Experience using Benchmark estimating software is preferred but not essential.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of pricing and project risk.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
