Job Opportunity: Retail Manager (Full-Time)

Sri Ganesh Australia Pty Ltd, trading as The Oaks Village Store, is currently seeking a skilled and committed Retail Manager on a full-time basis, to join our team at our Burnett Heads location – 49 Burnett Road, Bundaberg, QLD 4670. Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Managing the fuel station and staff to deliver store objectives.
2. Create a safe working environment for your team and customers.
3. Be responsible for inventory management, stock takes, daily reconciliation, banking and other administrative duties as required.
4. Ensure the customer experience is positive, leading to new opportunities and repeat business.
5. Product selection and setting up prices by implementing competitive purchasing and pricing policies to reduce expenditure and increase sales.
6. Markets products by advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analyses operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.

Ensure store operations and retail standards are implemented and maintained.
8. Maintains store staff by recruiting, onboarding, orienting, and training new team members.
9. Monitor and evaluate the overall performance of the store and of individual staff members to ensure service standards and goals are met.
10. Prepare and control the store’s budget, aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency.
11. Control costs without compromising standards and customer service.
12. Manage recent stock deliveries and merchandise the store.
13. Ensure occupational health and safety guidelines are always maintained and adhered to by the staff.

Skills and Experience:

1. The candidate must have at least one year experience in a similar role.
2. A minimum Diploma level qualification is required.
3. Proven ability to achieve sales, KPI’s & manage stock take.
4. A true passion for retail & growing your retail management career
5. Good communication skills
6. Ability to work in a team and autonomously.

Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per annum plus superannuation
