Essantis has a proud and successful record as a cereal, grain and animal nutrition miller. With over 120 dedicated employees, Essantis mills from both its Victorian and Western Australian mills with a focus on the manufacture of oat cereal product for breakfast cereal markets across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and South Africa.

We are seeking an Electrician to join the dedicated teams in Wagin, Western Australia. This role is a permanent full-time day shift, however some outside hours work will be required for shut-down maintenance.

To be successful in this position you will have the following:

- 3 years or more exp.
- An Electrical Trade Certificate (or equivalent)
- Exp. in industrial electrics, including motor control, variable frequency drives, PLC, automation and instrumentation
- Working knowledge of mechanical equipment and the skills to maintain and repair the equipment
- Boiler operating qualifications (or be willing to obtain them)
- A forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
- An EWP ticket (desirable but not essential)
- A current Drivers Licence and your own reliable transport

We are seeking a Maintenance Fitter/Metal Fabricator to join the teams in Smeaton (Ballarat), Victoria and Wagin, Western Australia.

You will be responsible for managing mechanical breakdowns, routine and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure production targets are met. This role is a permanent full time day shift, however some outside hours work will be required for shut-down maintenance.

The successful candidate will possess proven experience working:

- Significant exp. working in FMCG or Mills industries
- Fabrication skills including MIG Welding exp.
- Previous PM and breakdown maintenance exp. (desirable)
- Exp. with pneumatics, automation and hydraulic (desirable)
- A proven team player and flexibility to carry out site work when required
- Comfortable working at heights
- A forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
- An EWP ticket (desirable but not essential)
- A current Drivers Licence and your own reliable transport

A formal trade qualification as a Fitter will be advantageous or a combination of significant relevant exp. and/or training.

We are seeking Electronic Instrument Trades Workers and Industrial Measurement and Control Technicians to join the teams in Smeaton (Ballarat), Victoria and Wagin, Western Australia. These permanent full time roles operate on a 24/7 shift.

Reporting to the Production Manager,



you will be responsible for maintaining and adjusting the milling equipment for our Oat Mill, Flaking Mill, Flour Mill, and Stockfeed Pellet Mill. Production is monitored via the use of WinCos, Supervising Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

To be successful in this position the following is required:

- 3 years of relevant exp. with the milling equipment and PLCs used on either site, preferably working in a grain mill
- A formal qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Excellent knowledge of SQF and HACCP programs
- Strong computer skills
- A current Drivers Licence and your own reliable transport

We are also seeking Mechanical Engineers & Mechanical Engineering Technicians to join the teams in Smeaton (Ballarat), Victoria and Wagin, Western Australia. These are permanent full time roles which operate on a 24/7 shift.

About the role

Engineers must be physically fit to cope with the numerous stairs within the Mill and must be able to work in dusty environments.

To be successful in this position the following is required:

- 3 years of relevant exp. with grain milling equipment and PLCs
- A formal qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of SQF and HACCP programs
- A current Drivers Licence and own reliable transport

To be considered for one of the above positions, it is essential that you possess relevant qualifications and have 3+ years' exp. in a similar position.

We are seeking to also appoint full time Quality Assurance Managers/Quality Facilitators to join our teams based in Smeaton, Victoria and Wagin, Western Australia. You will co-ordinate and manage the ongoing quality assurance programs and other processing operations.

To be successful in this position the following is required:

- Diploma of Quality Auditing or Bachelor's degree in similar field or 5+ years' exp. in a similar role
- Technical proficiency and ability to use computers and generate reports
- Ability to analyze data and create and review processes
- Food Safety Management experience
- Exposure and experience to audits
- Excellent knowledge of SQF and HACCP programs
- Team player with the ability to influence change in a positive manner
- Strong computer skills

We are also looking to appoint an Industrial Engineer to join our team. A minimum of 3 years' relevant exp. with milling equipment is essential, as well as a trade qualification.

About the role

To be considered for this position, you will need to hold relevant qualification and have a minimum of 3 years' exp. in a similar position.

Responsibilities will include:

- Preparing drawings, plans and diagrams of electrical installations and circuitry
- Assisting Electrical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in design and layout of electrical installations and circuitry on substations, switchgear, cabling systems and motor control systems
- Collecting data, performing tests and complex calculations, graphing results, and preparing charts and tabulations
- Estimating materials costs and quantities
- Inspecting designs and finished products for compliance with specifications and regulations

We are also looking for Manufacturing Production Managers to join our team in Wagin, WA.

You will plan,organise direct and coordinate the production activities within our milling facilities.

This will include:

- Planning and monitoring production output
- Managing production costs and resources
- Coordinating plant maintenance and equipment requirements
- Monitoring quality and production performance
- Implementing process improvements
- Maintaining health and safety standards
- Preparing production reports

To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate a relevant qualification, and a minimum of 2 years experience in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally within food processing, grain milling, animal nutrition, feed production or a similar industrial setting.

Remuneration packages between $78,000 - $105,000 will be negotiated with the successful candidates for the above roles.
