POLYX GLOBAL PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and reliable Plastics Technician to join its team in Sydney, NSW.

Who You Are

We are looking for a motivated Plastics Technician with relevant experience in plastics manufacturing and production processes. The successful candidate will be technically minded, safety-conscious and able to work effectively within a production environment.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Setting up, operating and monitoring plastics production machinery and equipment.
2. Inspecting machinery and production processes to identify faults or performance issues.
3. Adjusting machine settings and production parameters to ensure product quality and consistency.
4. Carrying out routine maintenance and assisting with repairs of production equipment.
5. Monitoring production output and ensuring products meet required specifications and quality standards.
6. Identifying and resolving technical and production issues.
7. Maintaining accurate production and maintenance records.
8. Ensuring workplace health and safety procedures are followed.
9.



Working with production staff to improve efficiency and minimise downtime.

What We’re Looking For

1. Relevant qualification in plastics technology, manufacturing, engineering or a related field.
2. Relevant experience working in plastics manufacturing or a similar production environment.
3. Experience operating and troubleshooting plastics production machinery.
4. Good mechanical and technical skills.
5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Good communication and problem-solving skills.

2. Salary of $79,000 – $85,000 per annum + superannuation, depending on experience.
