Technical Representative – Mining Equipment

Are you a Mechanical Fitter, Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Drill Fitter or Field Service Technician looking for a role that combines technical problem-solving, customer interaction and international travel?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in mining equipment and technology, supporting customers across Australia and the Asia Pacific region.

Based in Adelaide, you’ll become a technical specialist supporting drilling equipment, troubleshooting complex issues, training customers and employees, testing current products and helping optimise equipment performance.

The role

- Provide technical support to customers both remotely and on-site
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues
- Support and train customers in the operation of drilling equipment
- Conduct product testing and provide feedback on product development
- Work closely with workshop and engineering teams
- Provide technical advice to improve equipment performance
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve products and customer outcomes
- Travel approximately 50% of the year across Australia and Asia Pacific

About you

We’re looking for a hands-on technical professional with:

- Mechanical Trade qualification
- 3-5+ years’ relevant mechanical experience
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical knowledge
- Experience with mining or heavy mobile equipment




- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel extensively, including internationally and at short notice
- Good Microsoft Office skills

Mining equipment or OEM experience will be highly regarded.
