Transport Administrator

- Monday to Friday 10.00am-6.00pm
- $37.50 per hour inclusive of casual loading
- immediate start
- Erskine Park Location

We are currently seeking a Transport Administration Officer for a Transport Company in Erskine Park. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in administration (preferably within Transport and Logistics), high level Customer Service and problem solving skills when managing complex customer requests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- To provide outstanding levels of administrative support to the DC Manager and Operation Manager
- Have high level of accuracy and attention to detail with data entry tasks
- Demonstrate high level of organisation skills and managing priorities calmly
- Have a high level understanding of clerical duties
- Previous experience in Transport and Logistics an advantage but not essential
- High level data entry processes
- Managing Freight and orders
- Communication with Customers regarding accounts and orders
- Confirming Bookings and deliveries
- Provide quotes,



shipment documentation and invoices
- Provide admin support to senior managers
- Raising Purchase orders

Required Skills

- Previous experience in Transport, Logistics and Customer Service highly valued
- High level data entry skills
- Excellent time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Effective communication skills; both written and verbal
- Intermediate computer skills; particularly Excel
