Our client is a leading civil contractor and is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Civil Estimator to join their team based close to Geelong.

This is a senior leadership role, responsible for leading a team of four estimators while taking ownership of pricing a diverse range of complex civil projects.

About the Role

- Lead, mentor and develop a team of four estimators
- Price complex and varied civil construction projects
- Build costs from the ground up using first-principles estimating
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure practical and accurate pricing
- Identify project risks, opportunities and construction methodology
- Attend and lead client meetings and presentations
- Take ownership of the estimating function and contribute to tender strategy

About You

- Strong civil estimating experience across complex projects
- Excellent first-principles estimating skills
- Strong knowledge of construction methodology and project delivery




- Experience with Expert Estimator and Bluebeam
- Strong programming knowledge
- 3D modelling experience such as Adtect is advantageous
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Previous leadership or team management experience
