Australian Venue Co. is growing its Melbourne portfolio, and we’re looking for experienced hospitality leaders to join our management teams across the city.

As we grow, so do our people. Existing Venue Managers are progressing into larger venues, new sites and broader leadership roles, creating new opportunities across our portfolio.

From iconic pubs and food-led venues to high-volume, late-night and entertainment destinations, our Melbourne portfolio includes some of the city’s best-known venues, including Hotel Esplanade (The Espy), Garden State Hotel and Morris House.

The Prospect

As a Venue Manager, you’ll take ownership of your venue’s people, performance and guest experience, including:

- Leading and developing high-performing teams
- Driving commercial performance with full P&L; accountability
- Managing labour, stock, costs and operational performance
- Delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Identifying opportunities to grow revenue
- Developing future leaders and succession plans
- Maintaining strong compliance, safety and operational standards

About You

We’re looking for experienced Venue Managers and General Managers with:

- High-volume pub, bar, restaurant or entertainment experience




- Strong commercial and P&L; capability
- Proven people leadership and team development skills
- Confidence operating in complex, fast-paced environments
- A passion for great hospitality and guest experiences

What’s on Offer

- $95,000–$120,000 + Super, plus a performance bonus of up to $44,000 p.a. paid quarterly — OTE $164,000 + Super.
