About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and capable Software Engineer to join our technology team in Heathmont. The successful candidate will contribute to the development, enhancement and maintenance of software solutions that support business operations and client technology requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into practical software solutions.
2. Design, develop, test and maintain software applications and supporting systems.
3. Develop and maintain APIs, databases and application components.
4. Troubleshoot software issues and implement effective technical solutions.
5. Improve existing software systems to enhance reliability, performance and usability.
6. Work with IT support, networking and business teams to integrate software with client environments.
7. Conduct testing, debugging and quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.
8. Maintain technical documentation,



system specifications and development records.
9. Assist with software deployments, upgrades and ongoing system maintenance.
10. Keep up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

1. A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology.
2. Skilled experience in software development.
3. Strong programming and problem-solving skills.
4. Experience working with databases, APIs and application development.
5. Good understanding of software testing, debugging and version control.
6. Strong communication and documentation skills.
7. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team.
