About the Client

Our client delivers engineering, procurement, construction and project management services across mining, energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors, supporting complex projects from concept through to delivery.

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Execution Planner to support the successful delivery of a major mining and metals EPCM project. Based in Adelaide with FIFO and local opportunities available, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining integrated project schedules, monitoring project performance, and providing forecasting and reporting to support project execution. This role is ideal for a planning professional with strong Primavera P6 expertise and a proven track record delivering complex engineering, construction, or EPCM projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules across all project phases
- Create detailed workstream and execution schedules to support project delivery
- Coordinate scheduling activities across engineering, procurement, and construction teams
- Review subcontractor schedules and integrate progress updates into project plans
- Monitor project performance and provide critical path and variance analysis
- Forecast project outcomes and identify scheduling risks and opportunities
- Support mitigation and recovery planning activities
- Prepare schedule reports and performance updates for stakeholders




- Support project controls and change management processes
- Ensure compliance with project planning standards and procedures

Skills and Experience Required

- Proven experience in project planning and scheduling
- Experience within mining, metals, engineering, construction, or EPCM projects
- Advanced Primavera P6 capability
- Solid understanding of integrated project scheduling and project controls
- Experience with forecasting, progress measurement, and schedule reporting
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to identify scheduling risks and develop practical solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and planning software tools
- Experience working in complex, fast-paced project environments
