About the Position
Our client is seeking an experienced Change Management Lead to join their Adelaide-based team, supporting the delivery of a major mining and metals EPCM project. This role will be responsible for coordinating and managing project changes throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring impacts to scope, cost, schedule and risk are effectively assessed and controlled. Working closely with project controls, engineering, commercial and delivery teams, you will oversee change requests, maintain accurate change registers and reporting, and ensure approved changes are incorporated into relevant project documentation, budgets and schedules. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the end-to-end management of project change requests through assessment, review and approval.
- Facilitate change impact assessments across scope, cost, schedule, resources and project risk.
- Work closely with engineering, project controls, commercial and delivery teams to ensure changes are effectively managed and implemented.
- Maintain accurate change registers, documentation, reporting systems and supporting project records
- Coordinate the incorporation of approved changes into project budgets, forecasts, schedules, scope and other relevant project controls.
- Monitor change status, identify outstanding actions and provide regular reporting to project stakeholders.
- Support and facilitate change review meetings, ensuring actions and decisions are accurately recorded and followed through.
- Ensure change management activities are delivered in accordance with established project procedures, governance and control processes.
Experience Required
- Relevant tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, construction, business or a related discipline
- 10+ years' experience within the mining, metals, infrastructure, energy or major EPCM project environment.
- 5+ years' experience in project controls,
change management or a closely related project management function.
- Proven experience managing project changes across scope, cost, schedule and risk on large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of project controls, change management processes, governance and reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams and manage a broad range of stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with strong capability in Excel and project reporting systems.
