About the Role

As a Beauty Therapist, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of professional beauty treatments while delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with clients to understand their individual needs and recommend suitable treatments and products.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Performing a range of professional beauty treatments, including facials, skin treatments, general makeup application, brow and lash services.
2. Assessing clients' beauty requirements, skin conditions, treatment preferences and desired outcomes before recommending suitable treatments.
3. Providing eyebrow shaping, threading, waxing, tinting and other brow-related treatments to achieve suitable and natural-looking results.
4. Performing eyelash treatments, including lash tinting, lash lifting and other related beauty services.
5. Carrying out facials and skin treatments using appropriate products, techniques and professional equipment based on individual client requirements.
6. Providing waxing and other hair removal treatments while ensuring client comfort, privacy and appropriate aftercare.
7. Advising clients on suitable beauty treatments, skincare routines, product selection and ongoing maintenance.
8. Maintaining high standards of hygiene, sanitation and infection control by cleaning and sterilising treatment areas, tools and equipment.
9. Maintaining accurate client records,



including treatment history, allergies, sensitivities, products used and client preferences.
10. Maintaining treatment rooms, equipment, beauty products and consumable stock.
11. Providing exceptional customer service and building robust, long-term relationships with clients.
12. Assisting with the promotion and sale of beauty treatments, skincare products and other services offered by the business.
13. Contributing to a professional, welcoming and positive salon environment.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this position, you should have:

1. A minimum Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy or an equivalent qualification.
2. Substantial relevant work experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications where appropriate.
3. A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Beauty Therapist.
4. Australian work experience in a similar role is essential.
5. Experience performing skilled beauty, brow, lash and skin treatments.

1. Ability to tailor treatments to individual facial features, skin conditions and client preferences.
2. Experience using professional beauty therapy equipment, tools and salon-grade products.
3. Strong knowledge of professional beauty and skincare treatments.
4. Sound familiarity with products commonly used within Australian beauty salons.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
6. A professional, well-presented and client-focused approach.
7. Strong attention to detail.
8. Good time management and organisational skills.
9. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
10. Reliability, punctuality and a commitment to maintaining consistent service standards.

What We Offer

1. A competitive salary package of $70,000 to $90,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
