This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing technical leadership with hands-on engineering and delivery.** **What you'll do** **Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.** **Drive the delivery of a frontend-heavy product roadmap, creating engaging customer experiences that have real impact at scale.** **Partner closely with Product and Design teams to shape roadmaps and translate customer and business needs into technical solutions.** **Guide architecture and engineering decisions across modern web applications, ensuring scalability, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.** **Champion engineering best practices across software development, testing, DevOps, security, and observability.** **Stay hands-on where it matters most, coaching engineers and helping solve complex technical challenges.** **Ideally you'll have** **Proven experience leading software engineering teams in Agile environments.** **Strong experience building large-scale, customer-facing web applications.** **Deep expertise in modern frontend technologies, particularly React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.** **Experience delivering responsive, accessible, and high-performance user experiences.** **Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively across Product, Design, and Engineering.** **Experience with modern engineering practices including CI/CD, testing, and cloud-native development.** **Exposure to Next.js, Node.js, AWS, microservices,
