DENTAL ASSISTANT – EXPERIENCED OR TRAINEE

We are looking for a reliable and motivated dental assistant to join our friendly, established dental practice in Creswick.

This position would suit either:

- an experienced dental assistant who can contribute confidently from the outset or
- a capable and enthusiastic applicant who is genuinely interested in undertaking a Certificate III traineeship and developing a long-term career in dentistry.

Creswick Dental Centre is a well-established, independently owned dental practice located approximately 20 minutes from Ballarat.

We are a small practice, and every team member plays an important role. We are looking for someone dependable, attentive and willing to become a valued long-term member of the practice.

FOR EXPERIENCED APPLICANTS

Certificate III in Dental Assisting and previous chairside experience are highly regarded. Experience with D4W, clinical note-taking, sterilisation tracking, reception, HICAPS, digital scanning, endodontics, crown and bridge work or implant procedures would be particularly helpful.

FOR TRAINEE APPLICANTS

Previous dental experience is not essential. However, you must be genuinely committed to learning dental assisting and willing to enrol in and complete Certificate III in Dental Assisting.

Applicants with experience in healthcare, aged care, hospitality,



administration or other fast-paced and procedure-focused workplaces are encouraged to apply.

HOURS AND REMUNERATION

This is intended to be a full-time position, with exact days and hours discussed during the recruitment process.

Remuneration will depend on qualifications and relevant experience. A Certificate III traineeship and structured workplace training are available for the right applicant.

Pay: $29.00 – $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 38.0 per week
