We're currently seeking experienced Chefs to join our regional Queensland operations. Working in a busy village environment, you'll provide quality meals that help keep our mining communities running safely and efficiently.
The Role
Prepare meals across breakfast, crib and dinner servicesWork in a high-volume catering environmentMaintain food safety and HACCP standardsDeliver consistent quality and presentationWork as part of a supportive kitchen team
These are FIFO roles from Cairns on a 14:7 roster, working 11-hour days. Casual opportunities are available with the potential for permanent placement for high-performing employees.
About You
Certificate III or IV in Commercial CookeryExperience in bulk catering or high-volume kitchensFIFO, DIDO or remote site experience desirable but not essentialStrong food safety and hygiene knowledgeAble to work well in a team and independentlyAble to work in remote environments and varying weather conditionsAbility to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testFull Australian working rights
