YOUR NEW ROLE/CAREER

In this KEY hands-on LEADERSHIP role, as the HEAD of Business Development [Finance] leading a winning team of BD/finance managers, you will love the stimulation+challenge of fully using BOTH your sales + technical finance/credit skills:

- developing new business by identifying and introducing new clients, closing sales, expanding new referral sources, building+maintaining relationships with mortgage brokers, accountants, lawyers, financial planners and maximizing cross-sell opportunities; and
- analyzing, assessing and managing loan applications [property/construction/investment/business loans] from enquiry through to settlement;
- mentoring/leading your team.

WHO YOU ARE

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

- Have a degree in finance/commerce (or similar) AND/OR a certificate/diploma of financial services (mortgages or finance) or financial planning (RG146) or similar;
- Have 7+ years’ experience in the lending/mortgages/financial services industry with a proven track-record in ‘hunter’ sales/ new business development and finance/credit assessment roles[essential];
- Are an ambitious success-driven ‘go-getter’ with a passion for customer service+ getting results AND a robust team player (not ‘me’-centric);
- Have outstanding communication, influencing, negotiation and relationship/people+ leadership skills.
