YOUR ROLE
In this key PIVOTAL role, reporting to a top-notch Director in their winning Business Services/Tax division, you will be the firm’s ‘go to’ internal Quality Control specialist.
You will enjoy the stimulation + fulfilment of:
- Reviewing/correcting the compliance files and tax advice prepared by professional accountants (at all levels) to ensure technical accuracy+ timeliness+ top quality client service prior to sign-off by one of the Business Services/Tax Directors;
- Leading+ mentoring/coaching accountants;
- Assisting with co-ordinating work-flows+ job deliverables of accountants/managers.

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:
- Are CA/CPA qualified with minimum 8-20 PLUS years’ hands-on experience in a business services/tax accounting role with a chartered/CPA accounting firm;
- Have solid academics +strong technical knowledge/skills (accounting/income tax/CGT, FBT GST, SMSFs);
- Have proven ability to autonomously manage your own portfolio of matters/clients from start to finish;
- Have led/supervised/reviewed the work of other accountants;
- Are an outstanding communicator with proven leadership+ problem-solving skills;
- are proactive + results-focused + Microsoft Office/IT systems proficient (Bank Link, Xero, CCH, AE and/or MYOB desirable);
- are seeking a reliable permanent PART-TIME role (3 or 4 days/week) with some FLEXIBILITY options (including remote working/work from home);
- are currently living in NSW.
