About the Role

As a member of our Domestic Services team, you will be responsible for delivering cleaning services across the organisation in accordance with healthcare cleaning standards, infection prevention practices and workplace safety requirements. You will report directly to the Domestic and Food Services Manager. [PD - Domes...c Services | PDF]

Key Responsibilities

- Cleaning patient, resident and staff areas to healthcare standards
- Window cleaning, wall washing and vent cleaning
- Vacuuming, mopping and damp dusting
- Infectious cleaning and infection control activities
- Carpet shampooing
- Sweeping external entrances and public areas
- Handling linen processes including ordering, storage and distribution
- Removal of soiled linen and replenishment of clean linen
- Participating in audits and quality improvement activities
- Attending team meetings and training sessions

About You
