As our Sydney team continues to grow, we are looking for a Junior Hospitality Recruitment Coordinator to join our Surry Hills office.
This is an entry-level opportunity designed for someone with hospitality experience who wants to build a professional career outside of venue operations while remaining closely connected to the industry.
You do not need recruitment experience. We will provide structured training, ongoing support and hands-on mentoring from experienced hospitality recruiters.

About the Role

You will work closely with our senior recruitment consultants, supporting them across active hospitality vacancies while learning how the recruitment process works from start to finish.
Your day will include:

- Speaking with candidates by phone and understanding their experience, availability and career goals
- Screening resumes against active hospitality vacancies
- Conducting candidate registrations and interviews
- Sourcing candidates through recruitment databases and job boards
- Writing and managing job advertisements
- Following up with candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Updating candidate and client information within our CRM
- Supporting senior consultants across multiple live assignments
- Building your knowledge of Sydney's hospitality market
- Learning how recruitment activity, targets and candidate conversion contribute to business results

As your confidence and experience develop, there will be opportunities to take greater ownership of vacancies and progress into a Recruitment Consultant position.

About You

Hospitality experience is highly regarded, whether you have worked in restaurants, hotels, cafés, bars, events or catering.




More importantly, you will be:

- Confident speaking with people throughout the day
- Comfortable working predominantly from a desk, phone and computer
- Organised and able to manage several tasks at the same time
- Naturally curious about people and their careers
- Comfortable working towards activity targets and measurable outcomes
- Resilient and willing to pick up the phone
- Confident learning new systems and technology
- Detail focused when reviewing resumes and recording information
- Motivated to build a long-term professional career

This role particularly suits someone who enjoys hospitality and understands the industry but is ready to move away from operational shift work.
