They create new recipes & methods, utilizing only the freshest and best ingredients with no premixes or preservatives.

Choco Bean is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Pastry Cook to join their team.

The Role As a Pastry Cook you will need to possess the following:

- Preparing wide variety of pastries, desserts, sauces, garnishes, decorations and glazes from scratch.
- Decorating and glazing pastries using various icing, toppings, creams, glazes etc.
- Know how to make different doughs of pastes to the highest quality.
- Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing, and shaping dough and pastry.
- Monitoring and adjusting oven temperatures determine baking times.
- Ensuring wastage is minimized and budget of supplies and materials are adhered.




- Inspecting quality of products throughout production process.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the equipment and surrounding, apply with occupational health, safety regulations and knowledge of HACCP.
- Work ethic with continual self-improvement, being able to work unsupervised.
- Creative drive and a genuine interest in food history and trends
- Experience and sound knowledge to work with different chocolate and sugar works.
- Sound knowledge of creating, designing and implementing new desserts matching with flavour profiles.

Successful applicants must have the following:

- Relevant qualification
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure and work as a team member.
- Willingness to constantly learn and be inspire
- Time and priority management skills, ability to teach, share the skills of knowledge with the team
- Willingness to learn current techniques, implementing them, support and grow with the business
