We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior French Teacher to join a leading independent school in Brisbane on a permanent basis commencing 2027 .

You will:
- Deliver engaging and purposeful French lessons across secondary year levels, including senior French.
- Prepare students for senior secondary assessment and support robust academic outcomes.
- Inspire students to develop their language proficiency and appreciation of French language and culture.
- Develop and implement high-quality curriculum and assessment programs.
- Build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families.
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and wellbeing.
- Contribute to the wider co-curricular and community life of the school.
You will bring:
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for French and language teaching.
- Experience teaching senior secondary French, with knowledge of the Queensland senior curriculum highly regarded.
- A commitment to student-centred, engaging and contemporary teaching practices.
- Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
- The ability to inspire students and foster a genuine love of language learning.
- A willingness to contribute positively to a dynamic and values-driven school community.
Requirements
- Relevant teaching qualification.
- Current, or ability to obtain, QCT registration .
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Demonstrated experience teaching French, including senior secondary classes.
