A large national recycling company is seeking an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor for their waste recycling centre in Bowral, NSW.

This is an excellent full-time chance for a proactive leader with recycling or heavy industrial experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about operational excellence and safety.

Hours

n

n
- Monday to Friday: 6:30am - 4:00pm
n
- Saturday: 6:00am - 12:00pm
n
- Regular hours paid at approximately $45-$48 per hour (depending on experience)
n
- Overtime paid after 8 hours, providing strong earning potential
n

The Role

n

You will work closely with the Site Manager to ensure the landfill and waste transfer operations run safely, efficiently and in accordance with operational requirements. Typical responsibilities include:

n

- Ensuring all team members understand and follow WHS procedures
n
- Monitoring plant and equipment, and promptly addressing maintenance or operational issues
n
- Completing and submitting accurate documentation within required timeframes (daily checklists, operational reports, work permits, JSAs,



pre-starts and incident reports)
n
- Ensuring compliance with EPA requirements and relevant regulations
n
- Managing traffic flow and safe interaction between customers, heavy vehicles, plant operators and pedestrians
n
- Delegating tasks effectively and leading the team on a day-to-day basis
n

About You

n

n
- Proven experience leading and supervising teams
n
- Experience operating mobile plant and equipment safely (loaders, front-end loaders, bobcats, forklifts, etc.)
n
- Strong awareness of safe work practices around heavy plant and machinery
n
- Ability to perform under pressure and prioritise multiple tasks
n
- Strong organisational and communication skills
n
- Ability to work effectively with staff at all levels
n
- Experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar is highly desirable but not essential
n
- Recycling, waste, landfill or heavy industrial experience preferred
n
