As the Medical Receptionist, you'll be the heart of our front office operations, serving as the first point of contact for our valued patients. You'll be responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and efficient environment while managing a range of administrative and patient-facing tasks.

The position is permanent part time, 2 days per week, Wednesday and Thursday with scope for some flexibility for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

Greeting patients warmly, assisting with forms, and ensuring their information is accurate and up-to-date
n
Scheduling, rescheduling, and moving patients through their appointments seamlessly
Handling incoming and outgoing mail and emails, collecting payments, maintaining office supplies, and ensuring a neat and clean reception area
n
Maintaining and managing accurate patient records with the utmost attention to privacy and confidentiality
n
Working under the direction of our Practice Manager and Principle GP, with opportunities to work autonomously within your areas of responsibility

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills across all age groups and social backgrounds

Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage a busy front desk efficiently
