Barback (Casual) – a'Mare Italian Dining Precinct | Crown Sydney

The a'Mare Italian Dining Precinct at Crown Sydney brings together three unique experiences under one roof — the refined elegance of a'Mare, the vibrant energy of Pizza'Mare, and the aperitivo-inspired atmosphere of Vista'Mare. Together they offer authentic Italian hospitality, exceptional food and beverage experiences, and stunning Sydney Harbour views.

We're looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Barbacks to support our bar team across the precinct.

This is a casual position with regular Friday and Saturday shifts available initially, with the opportunity for additional hours as the precinct continues to grow.

Essential Requirements

- Full Australian working rights
- Current NSW RSA Certificate
- Fluent English with excellent communication skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a bar or restaurant environment
- Strong work ethic with a positive, team-first attitude
- Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure
- Exceptional grooming and presentation
- Eagerness to learn and develop within premium hospitality

Preferred Requirements
- Previous experience in premium dining or high-volume venues
- Italian language skills (highly regarded but not essential)

Key Responsibilities
- Support bartenders to deliver exceptional guest experiences




- Transparent and reset bar and guest areas efficiently
- Wash, polish and organise glassware
- Restock beverages, garnishes, ice and bar supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all bar areas
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Work collaboratively with the wider front-of-house team across the precinct
