About your new job Working in a broad scope and reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Month-end journals, Balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis
- Assist with the preparation of BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax
- Profit & Loss analysis
- Assist with Forecasting & Budgeting
- Cash Flow analysis
- Regular stock and inventory reporting
- Assist with cost analysis
- Liaise with internal stakeholders across multiple branches and departments
- Provide support to Finance Team on any ongoing projects
- Assist with preparation of annual audits
- Ad hoc tasks as required
About You
You will either be an up-and-coming Assistant Accountant with the ability to provide support in a variety of functions.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have exposure in the following:
- Previous experience in a similar position; however, some training will be provided.
- Previous exposure in month-end processes
- Strong Knowledge of Excel
- Strong communication skills as well as attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Exposure to large ERP systems
- Degree qualified
- Completed/enrolled/currently studying towards CPA/CA
