- Temporary, Clerk Grade 5/6 ($102,936 - $113,579 per annum) chance until 30 June 2027 based in Martin Place, Sydney CBD.

Expressions of interest are invited from ongoing and temporary employees within the NSW Public Sector who wish to be considered for this temporary role to 30 June 2027, with the potential to extend or convert to ongoing.

About the Role

Join Women NSW's Community Engagement team and help deliver digital communications that inform, engage and connect communities across the state.

As Assistant Advisor, Communications, Social Media/Digital, you'll support the planning, development and delivery of communications that promote NSW Government priorities and initiatives, with a particular focus on Women NSW. You'll create and publish engaging content across social and digital channels, manage online communities, coordinate EDM communications, update website content and contribute to communications strategies that drive awareness and engagement. The role also provides digital communications support and advice across a range of departmental projects.

We're Looking For

- Social media and digital content: Experience creating, editing, publishing and moderating engaging social media and digital content across channels, including website updates,



EDMs and content management systems.
- Community engagement and customer service: Ability to respond to audience enquiries, support two-way dialogue with the community and tailor clear, accessible communications for diverse audiences.
- Planning, collaboration and continuous improvement: Ability to plan and prioritise work, collaborate with communications colleagues across government, monitor social media performance and use insights to improve engagement while maintaining the NSW Government brand.

Essential requirements

- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in journalism, communications, marketing, media, social media, public relations or a related discipline.
